Mr. Jerry Brings Home the Win!
Harborcreek Youth Services is proud to celebrate one of our own, Residential Supervisor Jerry Fisher, whose commitment to youth extends far beyond our campus.
Jerry, who also serves as a pastor at First Assembly of God in Union City, recently coached a middle school flag football team alongside his son, Samuel. The team, made up of seven youth ages 12 to 15 from his church’s youth group, competed in the first flag football tournament held as part of the Penndel Youth Network Fine Arts Festival 2026 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on April 17–18.

This inaugural tournament is part of AG Athletics, a ministry designed to help students grow through teamwork, discipline, and leadership while strengthening their connection to their faith and community.
Jerry and Samuel’s team rose to the occasion, bringing home a first-place win in their age bracket. Their achievement was recognized at the event’s awards ceremony and later within their church community.
While this team was not made up of HYS residents, Harborcreek Youth Services was honored to sponsor the team, supporting an initiative that reflects our mission of investing in youth, families, and the broader community. We are especially proud to support the passions of our staff, whose dedication to young people continues long after the workday ends.
Congratulations to Jerry, Samuel, and the entire team on an incredible accomplishment!
