Healing doesn't just happen in an office.
For youth recovering from complex trauma, safe and welcoming outdoor spaces can provide opportunities to reduce stress, build confidence, strengthen relationships, practice new skills, and simply experience the joy of being a kid.
Through Growing Outside, Healing Inside, HYS is investing in outdoor spaces and experiences that support healing across our campus. These spaces offer room for recreation, reflection, connection, learning, and growth.
Your Erie Gives donation helps us create an environment where young people can feel safe, discover their strengths, and imagine a more hopeful future.

Become an Erie Gives Fundraiser
You do not have to make the largest donation to make a major difference.
Create a personal fundraising page for Harborcreek Youth Services and invite people you know to participate. Your story and personal invitation may introduce HYS to someone who has never encountered our work before.
Fundraising pages can be created before Erie Gives, giving you time to personalize your page and prepare to share it. Erie Gives donations can only be accepted during the August 11 event.

When is Erie Gives?
Erie Gives takes place Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 12:00 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
Can I donate before August 11?
Not to Erie Gives, but general donations to HYS are are always welcome through the regular Harborcreek Youth Services donation page. Gifts made outside Erie Gives do not qualify for Bonus Bucks, but they still support HYS and the youth we serve.
Can I schedule my Erie Gives donation?
No. Erie Gives donations must be completed through the official Erie Gives website during the 24-hour event on August 11.
Can I prepare a fundraiser in advance?
Yes. Visit the official HYS Erie Gives page and select the “Fundraise” button. You will be prompted to create an account and set up your personal fundraising page. Donations cannot be accepted until Erie Gives begins.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Harborcreek Youth Services is a nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors will receive appropriate gift documentation.
