FAHEY/FERKO MEMORIAL RACE

Thanks to everyone -- participants, sponsors, and volunteers -- who made this year's race our best ever. Even the weather was great, despite calls for rain!

Next year's race will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, and will begin and end at the Harborcreek Township Building at 5601 Buffalo Road in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania. The race will feature four distinct events: a 10K run, a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a 1.6K (1-mile) fun walk. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female racers in each event, in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79, 80 to 89, and 90+. The top male and female overall winners in all competitive events will receive trophies.

All proceeds from the race will benefit Harborcreek Youth Services.
